BottomScanner Documentation
BottomScanner was a tool that allows you to watch the auctions as they come into the market to find bargains. It has been deprecated and replaced with the Searchui.

Debugging and Testing
- If you have a specific item which seems like it should be suggested, you can run through our BottomScanner Debugging checklist.
- In order to test that BottomScanner is actually working (maybe you're not getting any hits at all), sometimes it's necessary to turn all the settings way down, and then once you verify you are getting hits, tune the settings up to get rid of the "noise". What happened to BaseRules?
BaseRules were used by the old BottomScanner 4.0. When BottomScanner was ported to work on our 5.0 platform, BaseRules were eliminated in favor of evaluators. BaseRules are no longer supported, and cannot be used.
What was BottomFeeder
BottomFeeder was an AddOn for World of Warcraft that allowed the scanning, evaluation and even buying of auctions. Unfortunatly under advice from Blizzard that this addon does not meet with their approval, it has been removed indefinitely. With the advent of WoW 2.x, BottomFeeder has been recast as BottomScanner.
